How to find out, how many links do you need to become #1? :о
Or at least to get in top10 in Google for some specific keywords?

You need more than just "quantity" of links to get into the top 10 for competitive terms in Google.

For example, in my experience, one of the things Google really likes is fresh and regularly updated content.

For some terms you may take years to get to #1

here are some things we know that influence serps

theme of the page
theme of the site
age of the page
age of the site
inbound links to the site
inbound links to the page
quality of inbound links (ie not spam, Rx, casinos or scooters)
quality of outbound links
onpage optimisation
crawlability of the site
and then to the things you can't influence

your competitors!
good luck

sometimes it's better to win the small battles for the less obvious key words.

It really depends on how well u understand the needs of the major search engines , the qualkity of your links and quantity of good quantity of links. I know an seo expert that can get google rankings . Usually takes 6 months at most for a real seo to do this. Pm me if u want his info with a reference to a project he has also gotten top 10 rankings for. He is working on an gambling realted site for me so it shows my faith in him.
(Moderator's note: Why would you invite our members to contact you to get this individual's input instead of inviting your "SEO guru" to contact them here or simply post here in the forum? It doesn't make sense. This is an SEO discussion forum...that's sort of the point)

If you want to be on the top in Google then Quantity of links won't matter.
It'll be just quality of link.
One of my site is 7 months old and is in G SERPS with only 80 BLs on Y and 13 BLs on G.
