Hello:
I was wondering if you could help answer a question I have? I have been working on my website for almost a year and it still is not even in the top 1000 pages. I have check and recheck my site for Google friendliness and every one says its fine, but I really want to at least get some kind of ranking for all my hard work. The key words that I targeted is (Costa Rica fishing) I feel that my content is really good for that keyword and yet still nothing. if it has never ranked in the top 1000 in a year ,does that mean it never will ?and stop trying? www.queposfishing.com (http://www.queposfishing.com/)

Thanks for your time

Welcome to our forum accent33!

I noticed that most of your backlinks seem to come from link exchanges. Have you considered paying for directory listings or text link ads?

Here's a list of directories you can submit to (some are free and some are paid inclusion):

Here's a list of sites where you can purchase some potent and relevant text link ads:

Also, you may want to consider adding new pages of content on a regular basis (every day if possible). Look into adding a content management system so that you can update your homepage regularly with news, info, tutorials, etc... or simply create a new page of content using your html editor.

I hope this helps...
