Using Keyword tracker, I have been monitoring my site's performance on Google for some time now. And boy, has it been a rollercoaster ride. Up 3 places today, down 10 tomorrow. I even had one of the new pages on my site gain 9981 places for a search term, only to loose all of that again within a couple of days.
Any similar experiences?

gain 9981 places
And how have you managed to look through more than 1000 results ;)

Sorry, haven't been around much.
Using digital points' Search Engine Keyword Tracker & Keyword Ranking Tool. Nothing illegal about it.

That tool only checks Google's top 200 results for a given search term. If you are not in the top 200 it automatically assigns you position 10,000.
Still it is a great tool for tracking your keyword performance on Google. Here is a link (you need a Google API key to use this tool):

I use http://www.prsearch.net/ in order to check Google ranking for my websites. And no API key needed.

digital point's tool is more convenient if you're tracking several key words at once.
'spose the best bet is to use em both. They're both good.

Yes, but I afraid that digital point's tool sometimes is misleading for newbies as it shows such strange figures and prsearch.net doesn't :)

I understand your point

It does look like a rollercoaster. Top keywords changes all the time and you see other new keywords getting in the middle without apparant reasons. More backlinks you get and less of a rollercoaster ride you get. ;)
