Plan of attack for online jewelry sales

I need to drive traffic to a relatively young and underdeveloped jewlery site. What would you recommend I do? I know backlinks are important, but where would I find the ones I need.

Start by analysing the costs and benefits of paid directories.

Do some research and see if there are any major consumer directories specializing in jewlery or apparel etc...

Also, you may want to consider submitting paid directories like www.business.com

Make sure to stop by www.linkadage.com or any of the other auction sites (or brokerage sites) and look for jewelery or apparel advertising opportunities (remember that relevance is key).

Also, start an aggressive reciprocal link campaign targeting jewelery, apparel, etc....

It all depends the Ads. If Ads will have direct link to your website (better with your keyword) from great website it will help your SE ranking. So look through direct links with targeted keywords in this situation (if you want to get high SE ranking). :)
