Okay, so why would you use a <no script> tag and why? Seems like if you're using it you're hiding something or am I do not understanding something?

No script can be used for the following reasons

to give information to people on old pre-javascript browsers = but do any of these still exist? Potentially WAP phones but I suspect they've moved on too.
to give information to techies who have chosen to disable javascript but that's out there odd behaviour and I wouldn't cater for them unless they were my specific target market. Ad systems frequently add no script and thats fine.
to cloak information for the search engines - and that's much more likely. And cloaking is bad - so if you use no script be very sure that what you are doing is good and won't end up with penalties after a manual review by Google et al.
