In an effort to counter the slowing growth rate of its online auction business, EBay Inc. has chosen to run Google advertising on its International web sites.
Ebay shares are reported to be headed for their worst performance in six years. The joint venture with Google came just three months after the online auction company said it would show ads from Yahoo on its U.S. markets. Both moves are designed to boost company revenue through the use of advertising partners.
Google ads will start appearing on EBay in early 2007.
