Today, at the International Consumer Electronics Show or "IGE", Yahoo launched its new Go Mobile service. Many of the features available on the Yahoo portal, beyond the standard e-mail applications already seen on many cell phones, will be now be accessible.
Anyone that has a yahoo account can have their customized data loaded in their phone. It's essentially like having your "MyYahoo" setup on your cell phone. The only two major features that are not currently available are Yahoo's music and video features such as Launchcast.
Eventually, Go Mobile will work on any cell phone, but for now it is only available on Nokia's Series 60 line.
The Yahoo Go Mobile application is downloadable for free at Yahoo's website, but the company has also signed a deal with Nokia that will allow the cell phone maker will be pre-install the application on their phones.
