The new product, "Google Pack", is designed for PC users and provides a common set of software to address various PC problems while protecting compatibility of programs. The Google Pack offering is a one-click download that allows you to continue working while the site proceeds to install the Mozilla Firefox browser, Picasa photo management software, Adobe Reader, Google Earth, and a number of basic PC protection titles. The download is free of charge and is available at pack.google.com.

The search engine gianthas been working with numerous software providers to ensure that the download process does not produce a single dialog box, does not ask the user any questions, and most importantly, does not have a negative impact on any existing software on the user?s PC.
