Google Localnowallows userswith XHTML-enabled browsers on their cell phonesto search for a local business,find directions,andsearch zoomable maps of the area in question. Users can alsopull driving directionsfrom text messagesby usingGoogle SMS.
The company said that these two Google Localfeatures areavailable in the United States and Canada. Google SMS is supported by most U.S. wireless carriers.
